Since 1998 the Chinook has been eligible to compete in the UKC's Top Ten
competitions. This competition runs from January 1st of a year to December
31st. Points are only awarded for competition with dogs of the same breed.
Chinooks get one (1) point for each Chinook they defeat in a show. At the
end of the year all the points are added up and Chinooks are ordered by the
number of points they have. Hurricane Chaser was honored to be the first
Chinook to win the #1 Top Ten slot 1998.

Although young, he has a wonderful mature temperament, and is really a joy to share my life with. He is approximately 65 pounds and has a smooth, flowing gate. |
